Brothers of Alpha Phi Omega,
May I first apologize for the time that it has taken me to finish this book . It was an honor and privilege to be the Spring 2005, historian, and to document the excitement that is KO . Spring 2005 brought in a pledge class of six: Alli, Carey, Dan, Diana, Naima and Shaun . The pledges were so wonderful, they even won the Tuttle Mug for the Pledge class service project at the Five-College Relay for Life . It was a moving event that I'm sure everyone enjoyed . Other events included Merit badge University- another great success!
Fellowship included Games & Interviews night, a Pajama Party, hiking Mount Sugarloaf, Ice Skating, and more . Conclave at the University of Connecticut was a good time, and many bothers even rode the mechanical bull ! (Oh, and I almost had a throw down with a girl from another chapter- but that is a different story entirely… ) Spring is always a busy semester- with outdoor events, trips to abandoned mental institutions, feeding the ducks in the campus pond and of course, graduation . This year, we had to say goodbye to Chris "Crispy" Philips & Brian Plankey (the old timers- say it isn't so!), Michelle Price, Patrick Arsenault, Melissa Grossman, Brian Metzger, Jen Leblanc, Karen Lee, Amanda Neilson, Mike Weber, Katie Green, Ever Hernandez & Kate Whitaker . Congratulations to them, and best of luck in the future . Congratulations also to Elsa Chan, Simone Silvestri, Aislinn Costello & Hilliary Hodgdon who graduated but will be sticking around for awhile.
Farewell, Spring 2005 . It's been real .
